OT LONDON
Specialist Pediatric Occupational Therapy Services
My name is Miri Horovitz-Cohen, and I am the founder and lead occupational therapist at OT London. I have over 30 years’ experience working exclusively in the field of paediatric occupational therapy, supporting children and families from preschool through to secondary school age.

I understand that seeking occupational therapy support for your child – particularly for the first time – can feel overwhelming. At OT London, our approach is designed to be clear, supportive and reassuring, helping parents feel informed and confident at every stage. We work closely with families to understand each child’s unique needs and to develop practical, meaningful strategies that support long-term development.
OT London is a private paediatric occupational therapy service supporting families across London and the surrounding areas. Assessments and intervention can take place at home, in school, or in clinic, offering flexibility while ensuring therapy is delivered in environments that are most relevant to the child.
Since 1995, I have worked with children presenting with a wide range of occupational therapy needs, including difficulties with motor coordination, sensory processing and modulation, visual perception, postural control, and fine and gross motor skills. I have extensive experience supporting children with complex and significant educational needs, and I have worked as part of multi-disciplinary diagnostic and therapy teams across health, education and community settings.
Alongside my clinic based work, I have well over a decade of medico-legal experience. I receive instructions from solicitors and legal teams, conduct independent medico-legal occupational therapy assessments, and have an established and respected career as an expert witness in SEND and tribunal proceedings.
My professional background includes work within the NHS, hospitals, community services, and private practice, including a senior role within a private clinic in the Harley Street area. Throughout my career, I have maintained a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development, regularly attending specialist training courses and workshops in the UK and internationally.
I hold a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (B.O.T) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Faculty of Medicine, completed in 1995, and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies, completed in 2004. Since relocating to the UK in 2006, I have undertaken further postgraduate training in Sensory Integration, including accredited studies through Cardiff University, Ulster University, and the Sensory Integration Network UK & Ireland.
I am HCPC registered and a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists (BAOT), the College of Occupational Therapists Independent Practice Special Interest Section, and the Sensory Integration Network UK & Ireland.
